In Vancouver, Canada Place has created nostalgic settings. In the 1960s and 1970s family outings often included a trip to view Woodward’s animated Christmas window displays. When Woodwards closed in 1993 Canada Place Corporation purchased the displays and now they are part of a new family tradition at Canada Place.

There are also modern displays.

White Rock is also a magical place at Christmas.

Growing up my Mum was very crafty and we had many special Christmas articles. She continued to make personalized Christmas stockings as our family expanded. This year Ralph and I finally made personalized stockings for our granddaughters.

We celebrated Christmas with our local family - Lindsay, Kari and Dan, Ralph and I.

As always, Peace Arch RV Park created a well recognized Christmas light display. Each year is a little different.

Santa arrives via many different modes of transportation.

The swimming pool creates a beautiful scene.
